Amplify the cultural identity of Chicago, bring more national and international attention to the city
Increased sense of safety in a corridor otherwise darkened by the ‘L’ tracks
Boosted community engagement and sense of ownership for the people who live, work, and go to school on Wabash
Economic growth and development, including direct job creation and a re-investment in Chicago’s central area
Higher education and STEAM curriculum that use The Wabash Lights as an interactive instrument for learning and discovery
